After hearing “a lot of beats that moved my pen,” Hieroglyphics MC Casual decided to team up with Ohio producer J. Rawls on a new project. The album, “Respect Game or Expect Flames,” is due out August 28th on Nature Sounds. J. Rawls tells fans to expect a new sound: “I changed my style a lot for this album… I’m known for having a jazzy sound, but some of these tracks are more edgy. Spin Magazine gives you the first chance to stream the brand new album from Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, member of Oakland clique Hieroglyphics. I’ve got big expectations for this one myself so make sure you feel the stream and cop the album when it drops next Tuesday.
Del from the Hiero crew just dropped a 20-track album on his BandCamp with production from Grassroots. Del is asking for a mere $3 for the album but if you pay $15+ you will get a hard copy. There are some other things you can buy, if you click through you can view all the options on offer.
